We have Pamela Pauline, well renowned for her  fine art photography, presenting her work.

Digital Image Titling

PLEASE ensure your digital images are TITLED and include your FULL NAME as per the instructions on our website.
Use only lower case characters with no spaces. Use underscore in place of spaces.
eg:  the_shearers_ben_jones.jpg

All digital images are to be sent to entries@pittwatercameraclub.org no later than 8.00pm on Sunday night (the day before the competition).

Karen Burgess

Our last meeting had Karen Burgess critiquing our abstract/creative images.
Karen was extremely impressed with the variety of our work which is a credit to all who submitted images.

National Photographic Portrait Prize

The National Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual event intended to promote the very best in contemporary photographic portraiture by both professional and aspiring Australian photographers.
The exhibition of 43 portraits will be on display at the National Portrait Gallery from 24th March until 17th June.

Evening Atelier with Peter Eastway

Sydney Harbour International & Sydney International Exhibition of Photography

The Sydney Harbour International with a closing date of 15th April 2018 and the Sydney International Exhibition of Photography with a closing date of 27th August 2018 are digital photographic competitions which grow every year and are entered by photographers from around the world.
They are a wonderful way to gauge your work on a world stage and to support an Australian initiative.

Head On Photo Festival

Now is the time to get your creative hats on and think about our mini portfolio style of competition
" Seeing in 6's ".
As discussed , you will be presenting 6 prints on a board no bigger than 500mm x 500mm in size that are cohesive or tell a story.
They can be either monochrome or colour or a mix of both and can be different sizes.
You can submit 2 sets of prints and critique night will be Monday August 13.
We will have "Seeing in 6's " books at each meeting for you to peruse for inspiration.

Waves and Water Exhibition

Australia's love of the beach is the subject of an exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Surfers, swimmers and sunbathers are the stars of a sprawling project collecting images from the 1880's to today, focussing on both traditional and contemporary beach culture and a myriad of esteemed Australian photographers including Max Dupain, Harold Cazneaux and Roger Scott.
Waves and Water is set to run until 24th June 2018.

Daintree photography workshop 8th to 15 August 2018 promises to be an experience like no other.
3 extremely talented people leading a workshop in a world class venue , The Daintree Rainforest Observatory.
Not a cheap workshop however I have listened to all 3 lecturing over the years and find they are all worthy of praise.
This is one for serious thought if you want to take your photography to the next level and beyond.
