Portfolio Group

Tonight, Monday February 1, is the first meeting of the 2016 Portfolio Group.  If you are interested in joining us please come along to Pittwater RSL tonight at 7.30 pm.

Facebook

Our Facebook page is starting to attract visitors and we have some little comps and exercises running there to keep you interested. Takis has prepared some information about getting started on Facebook which can be found on our website under the Resources tab.

Our Judge

Our judge is Luke Tscharke, a local photographer based on the Northern Beaches.  Nature and landscape photography is Luke's favourite photography.
Luke recently won the Monochrome Photographer of the Year at the Monochrome Awards.

Our 50th Birthday

As announced at our last meeting, 2016 is the 50th birthday year for Pittwater Camera Club. And you will be getting the presents. Every month we will hold a member draw and the winner will receive a great gift.  Your committee have been out and about talking to local businesses asking for donations to celebrate. To be in the draw  you must be a financial member and you must be there on the night.

We are delighted to announce that David Naar has agreed to take over the position of Treasurer for us following the resignation of Lynda Cowley due to business pressures..

Club Outing

SPECTATOR FERRY - FOLLOW THE FLEET! RELIVE HISTORY ON MAGNIFICENT SYDNEY HARBOUR  
On Saturday 27th Feb 2016 we are organising a Photo / Social outing on the harbour.  We travel on the ferry, following the historic 18' skiff race, cameras in hand! Partners, are welcome.
The ferry leaves at 2 pm, lunch prior at the skiff club, at 12.30 pm is also available. Most information can be found at  www.sydneyflyingsquadron.com.au
 The ferry cost is $25.00 payable on the day and lunch is also at your expense. We need to confirm attendance numbers for both the ferry and / or lunch by Sat Feb 13th.

Reminder
Membership fees for 2016 are now due
As agreed at the 2015 AGM our membership fees are now $50.00 per person, $20.00 for junior members and $70.00 for families. 
We are now in a position to allow direct deposits to the club bank account - this is sure to make life easier for all.
Please make sure your SURNAME is included with the deposit,
​don't write, eg Mike - we have at least 6 in the club!!
