In a career spanning 35 years Peter has seen his photography art work find its way into private and public collections in Australia and overseas, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Powerhouse Museum the Museum of Contemporary Art and the New South Wales Parliament.
​This presentation promises to be one of most exciting for 2016 - a not to be missed event.

Did you know?

​If any of your prints entered to one of our comps receives a point score of more than 12 then you can send a digital copy of the image to Mike to be included in the monthly gallery.
Images are to be sized and named as to the digital format.
Do not send images that were in the digital section of the comp - we have those already on the clubs laptop.

Portfolio Group

Tonight, Monday February 15, we will be holding a meeting of the 2016 Portfolio Group.  If you are interested in joining us please come along to Pittwater RSL tonight at 7.30 pm.

Pittwater Challenge 2016

Yes it is back.  This year we ask you to take one digital image created by camera movement.
Most of the time we make images while we take particular care to keep our camera steady. Explore new and creative methods to capture images by moving your camera during capture. Don’t limit yourself to panning. Try combining slow shutter speeds with irregular movement, camera shake or changing the distance between camera and subject during capture. Camera movement should be the key component in creating the image, how you do it is up to you.
Entries will be judged at our Creative comp on April 4th.
​Send your entry to Mike with the usual sizing and naming protocols before 8.00 pm April 3rd. 
Having fun is the most important part of the challenge.

It is essential you sign in on arrival at meetings.  We have insurance that covers members when attending meetings and excursions.  If you have an accident and have not signed in, then you will be unable to make a claim.
