Name Tags
Please everyone, can you always wear your name tag. Most of us know who you are, but our newer members do not and this is the easiest way for all of us to learn who is who.

Changes to Webmaster and for Submitting Digital Images to Competitions.
As from 1st September Mike West, after returning from his long overseas trip, re- takes over as our Webmaster and Digital Competition Image Coordinator . Please send your Digital Images to Mike for all all future Competitions.

With the purchase of our new projector, images can now be shown at a larger resolution. Therefore now the max. size for digital images can be 1920px X 1080px. With file sizes now max. 1mb Please find more information on image size on our web site in "The Rules" Section.

ensure they are in JPEG format, in sRGB colour space and downsized to 1920 pixels x 1080 pixels max. Around 250 kb.
Name files with the title followed by the author's name. ie the_shearers_ben_jones.jpg. as with digital entries.

Calibration
Calibrating your monitor is an essential part of ensuring that the image you see on your monitor at home closely resembles what the judges and members see up on the screen on a competition night. Correct calibration also helps to ensure that your printed image closely matches what you see on your monitor.
The club has a calibrator that we lend out to members to assist with this.
Please talk to Peter, Bill or myself if you wish to borrow the calibrator.

For a donation to Pittwater Camera Club we will arrange for your logo, business address and phone number and link to your web site from various pages of the Pittwater Camera Club website, along with the same in our newsletters.
The only criteria is that you must be a financial member of Pittwater Camera Club, be a sole trader or in a partnership and we prefer you have an ABN.
Our website attracts several thousand visitors per year and our newsletter is distributed to over 100 people every two weeks.
This represents a wide coverage of prospective customers for your business for less than $1 per week.
So if you are a tradie, accountant, solicitor, shop keeper, hairdresser, beautician, window cleaner etc, and are interested in getting your business name out there to an even wider market, please contact Peter, Bill, or myself and we will go into it in a lot more detail with you.
