Our Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Pittwater Camera Club will be a Members Workshop evening on Monday, May 26th, commencing at 7.45 pm.
Have you ever wondered how someone turns their basic image into a competition winner?
Mark, John, Ruth, Brian and Peter will be there to show you their workflows using Photoshop and Lightroom.
This will not be a night showing you how to use the programs; rather it will be a step by step demonstration showing how they make their adjustments and improvements to an image.
If you have an image you would like one of our ‘experts’ to work on, please bring it along on a stick.
There will be plenty of time for Q & A during the evening.
It should be a fun evening, so please come along.
Don’t forget – you can now find us at our new address of…

Homage
An exhibition by members of Nebuli Arts, a group comprising emerging and established artists aspiring to attain a distinctive niche within contemporary art is now on view at The Incinerator, 2 Small Street, Willoughby.
The four exhibitors are, Susan Buchanan, Professor Des Crawley, Jan Glover and John Bardell.
The exhibition runs from Wednesday to Saturday until June 1st, 11,00 am – 5.00 pm.
Having attended last Saturday I can personally advise that the work by Susan Buchanan of glass objects captured in a dark room without the use of a camera is a must see.

Calibration
Calibrating your monitor is an essential part of ensuring that the image you see on your monitor at home closely resembles what the judges and members see up on the screen on a competition night. Correct calibration also helps to ensure that your printed image closely matches what you see on your monitor.
The club has a calibrator that we lend out to members to assist with this.
Please talk to Peter, Brian, Bill or myself if you wish to borrow the calibrator.
