Evaluations eveningWe have received very positive feedback regarding our Evaluation night and it seems you want more as everyone went home with some positive thoughts and advice from the members of their team on the night.
We plan to tweak the process just a little, but in the meantime if you have any thoughts regarding the evening, please send them to us. |
Competition RemindersYour correctly named and sized digital images are to be sent to Mike at [email protected] before 8.00 pm, Sunday March 12th. Incorrect images will be returned for correction.
If your printed image receives a score of 12 or better, please send a digital copy to Mike for inclusion in our gallery. Images are to be sized to the digital image standard. You are reminded that there is an entirely new Competition Entry Form, this new form is editable on line and can be found on the home page of our web. |
Disposable Camera Fun
Reminder: If you put your name down to be part of this fun challenge please bring your $30.00 payment along on Monday March 13th. - It is not too late to register you can do that on the night as well.
At our last meeting we gave you a quick peep at the plans for our Disposable Camera Fun Weekend - June 10 - 12th.
We dearly want everyone to join in and have a laugh when we take a step back in time to take images with an
old fashioned, proper camera - one with film!
So the plan is...
You will purchase from us a Fuji 27 pic disposable camera, with inbuilt flash, ASA 400
The cost is $30.00 including developing and postage
You will be issued with the camera at the meeting prior to June 10th, ie, June 5th
Over the long weekend you are asked to take photos of anything and everything that takes your fancy, nothing is off limits
You will then bring the camera back to us - we send them all off together for developing as prints and on CD
When the images are returned we will give you back the prints - you will then choose 6 of your favourites
These 6 images will be taken off the CD, which will then be projected on to the big screen for us all to see.
What we came up with when we didn't have the luxury of being able to review our shots or be able to edit with Photoshop or Lightroom should be very entertaining.
Orders are now being taken at this meeting please see David on arrival to place your order
