Our Next Meeting The next meeting of the Pittwater Camera Club will be a presentation evening on Monday, June 30th, commencing at 7.45 pm.
Malcolm Fackender will be coming along to share with us his mastery with ‘Off Camera Flash’.
Yes, this will be one occasion when we ask you to bring along your camera, tripod and speedlite or similar flash gear. Don’t worry if you don’t have an off camera flash – this is a presentation where you will learn some great tips on flash photography in general.
Don’t forget – you can now find us at our new address of…

For those whose printed images won a merit or credit don’t forget to send a digital copy to Mike at [email protected] for inclusion on the clubs web site.
Hornsby Heights Interclub
Don’t forget, the annual Interclub with Hornsby Heights Camera Club will be held tomorrow night Tuesday, June 24th.
The address is 104A Galston Road, Hornsby Heights.
The members at Hornsby Heights always go to a lot of trouble preparing supper for us, so it would be fantastic to see as many of our members there as possible.
Images that were submitted to our selection committee will be available for collection at our next meeting on Monday, June 30th.
Topshot 2014
Commencing at 10.30 am the annual FCC Topshot will be held at Castle Hill RSL, 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill, this coming Sunday, June 29th.
So if you entered images, please come along to see how you fared, and if you didn’t enter come along anyway to be inspired by images taken by members from different clubs throughout NSW.
As there is also a Hot Rod vehicle display being held at the RSL at the same time, parking may be at a premium.

Calibration
Calibrating your monitor is an essential part of ensuring that the image you see on your monitor at home closely resembles what the judges and members see up on the screen on a competition night. Correct calibration also helps to ensure that your printed image closely matches what you see on your monitor.
The club has a calibrator that we lend out to members to assist with this.
Please talk to Peter, Brian, Bill or myself if you wish to borrow the calibrator.
Club Patron
