FCC Interclub 2013
The annual interclub will be held on October 27th and hosted by Manly Warringah Leagues Camera Club.
For our newer members - the FCC Interclub is an annual event. Camera clubs throughout NSW submit entries from their members in various categories to compete against all the other NSW clubs. The entries are judged by independent judges and the winning images and clubs will be announced and displayed on October 27th.
I will shortly be sending out a list of printed images that we are asking you to submit to our selectors for inclusion in the Interclub. These images are ones that have received Merits and/or Credits in our club competitions during this current year. Of course, if you have a printed image you feel should be included for the selectors, please submit it too. We already have the digital images on the club laptop so there is no need to worry about those.
Please bring your images along to our next meeting on August 19th making sure your name, contact details and club is written clearly on the back of the image and mount.
Thanks for your assistance with this. Last year we came third in Nature Prints and also third in Nature Projected Images.
With your help this year we will do even better.

Image Mounts
Peninsula Reflections at Warriewood very kindly supply mat boards to the club at prices that cannot be bettered anywhere. If you wish to purchase boards at any time just talk to Brian at the door.

Calibration
Calibrating your monitor is an essential part of ensuring that the image you see on your monitor at home closely resembles what the judges and members see up on the screen on a competition night. Correct calibration also helps to ensure that your printed image closely matches what you see on your monitor.
The club has a calibrator that we lend out to members to assist with this.
Please talk to Peter, Brian, Bill or myself if you wish to borrow the calibrator.
